Conservative Salem, Oregon radio show host, Bill Post, has announced today he’ll suspend his talk show while running for an Oregon House seat (see his announcement below).
Post explains FCC rules and election laws require him to step back from his week day show, although he says it is “a sacrifice I planned for and am willing to make for the opportunity to represent the people of House District 25.” He’ll remain in operations and program director positions at KYKN.
Post recently announced a run for House District 25 being vacated by Representative Kim Thatcher, who is running to replace retiring State Senator Larry George.
House District 25 comprises Keizer, St. Paul and Newberg. Post and his wife live in Keizer.
